About This Fabric

This Aged Antics suit is made from Goli khaddar, the thick, tightly woven winter fabric Kamalia is famous for. Many people also call it hard khaddar. The threads are packed close together, so it is heavier and warmer than normal khaddar and holds its shape well. It feels firm at first and becomes softer after a few washes.

Best For

This suit is best for very cold cities like Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Quetta and Murree, and men who want real warmth from the fabric itself. Add a waistcoat or shawl on the coldest days. Because the fabric is heavy, ask your tailor for a little extra room and a simple design.

How to Care for It

Wash the fabric once in cold water before stitching so it settles. After that, wash in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent, turn it inside out, and dry it in the shade. Do not use bleach or very hot water. Iron on medium heat while the fabric is slightly damp. Khaddar gets softer with every wash.
