Caring for Handmade Khaddar

Handmade khaddar lasts for years with gentle care. Wash it by hand or on a gentle cycle in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not wring it hard, just press out the water and let it dry in the shade. Iron on medium heat while it is still a little damp. Avoid bleach and strong stain removers. Fold it neatly after use and keep it in a dry place. Over time the fabric becomes even softer, while keeping its rich handmade texture.
