The threads are packed close together, so it is heavier and warmer than normal khaddar and holds its shape well. It feels firm at first and becomes softer after a few washes.

How to Care for It

Wash the fabric once in cold water before stitching so it settles. After that, wash in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent, turn it inside out, and dry it in the shade. Do not use bleach or very hot water. Iron on medium heat while the fabric is slightly damp. Khaddar gets softer with every wash.
