About This Fabric

This Almost Black suit is from Pure Handmade, our most traditional winter fabric. It is spun and woven by hand on a wooden khaddi loom in Kamalia, with no machine weaving at any stage. Only a few weavers still do this work, so stock is limited and colors can sell out. Small changes in the weave are normal and show it is real handmade fabric.

This suit is best for weddings, Eid and formal gatherings, and men who value real craft. It is strong, lasts for many years and becomes softer with every wash. Treat it gently: do not wring it hard and dry it in the shade.

How to Care for It

Wash the fabric once in cold water before stitching so it settles. After that, wash in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent, turn it inside out, and dry it in the shade. Do not use bleach or very hot water. Iron on medium heat while the fabric is slightly damp. Khaddar gets softer with every wash.
